A couple of stray dogs were spotted chasing a wild elephant amid a busy road in the North Central Province of Sri Lanka on January 26.

The incident took place in the Ambagaswewa region near the Minneriya National Park.

A video witnessing the incident features an elephant on the sidelines of a busy road.

The jumbo begins to tread ahead on the side of the street while the vehicles stop at a distance to make way for it.

Following this, two stray dogs attempt to obstruct its path by howling at it.

After growling and chasing for a while, they depart through the opposite lane.

Then the jumbo drifts apart while the onlookers catch a glimpse of it and behold the experience.

The elephant was taking a stroll when the dogs appeared from the opposite road to growl at it. The wild elephant was passing by the entrance of the Minneriya National Park when this incident occurred.
