Hundreds of Tunisians marched in the capital on Saturday (January 30) in another day of protest against police abuses.

Daily protests have taken place since mid-January and more than 1,000 people have been arrested, according to reports.

Hundreds of Tunisian demonstrators protested Saturday on Habib Bourguiba Street in the capital against police violations.

The protesters demanded the release of protesters who had been arrested by the police during the night demonstrations a few days earlier.

The police had arrested more than a thousand protesters two weeks ago, who demonstrated against poverty and unemployment at night.
