A chunky cat gallops through the snow to get to his neighbor's house for a visit in Pembroke, Virginia, while there are snowy showers on Sunday (January 31).

The cat likes to visit his neighbors are often as possible, but considering he rarely sees snow, he pauses when he realizes there is a lot of snow his way.

The filmer found on Instagram, hollzdrawz, told Newsflre: "My son Sam was outside playing in the freshly fallen snow...when the 'chonky' neighbor's cat saw him and decided to pay a visit. We were already standing by the window watching when we saw him start the trek. We rarely get snow so I could see his confusion and regret on the cat's face when he started over. He stopped to consider it, and I started recording. He started galloping with all his might to get over here. My partner James and I couldn’t contain our delight as his big ole cat struggled to get to our porch and up the stairs."
