A drunk motorist smashed a car into eight vehicles after having an argument with his wife in southwestern China.

The CCTV video, filmed in the city of Shangri-La in Yunnan Province on January 16, shows a car bumping into a row of parked vehicles.

After the car stopped, a woman and a man walked out of it and the woman followed the man to try to stop him.

After the police arrived, the man named Lu refused to have a breathalyser test and was sent to hospital for a blood test.

According to reports, Lu was blamed for the incident and would pay for the eight vehicles maintenance fees.

Police have revoked Lu's driving licence because of driving under the influence. The case is under further investigation.

民警到达现场后，只见现场一片狼藉，肇事司机满身酒气，情绪激动且拒不配合酒精检测，随后在特警大队的支援下，现场民警合力将肇事司机带至医院抽血送检。
最终，警方认定肇事司机陆某负这次事故的全部责任，这就意味着8辆受损汽车的修理费等所有费用将全部由陆某承担。此外，陆某因醉酒后驾驶机动车，驾驶证将被吊销。目前，陆某已被公安机关依法采取强制措施，案件还在进一步侦办中。（视频由云南台提供）
