Locals in eastern India's Odisha coexisted with a couple of bears when they entered a temple in the region on January 30.

The incident took place at a Hindu temple in Boden village in Nuapada district.

Visuals show a priest enthusiastically worships the deities in the temple.

Meanwhile a couple of bears entering the temple premises from the adjacent forest cover.

Instead of panicking, the locals come forward to feed the bear, who readily engages with the group.

The villagers offer various food items to the animal while it indulges them.

A crowd of onlookers gathers around to behold the experience.

Later, a couple of bears tour the temple and roam freely on its premises.

The forest department has declared the forest surrounding the region a bear corridor since the woods house numerous bears.

However, the animals known for their ferocity coexist with the locals in the area and accept coconuts and other food items offered to them in the place of worship.
