As a man is fishing in Leavenworth, Washington, near Seattle, his fishing line gets an unexpected thief at the end: an osprey coming to take his fish.

"Minding my own business fishing for trout when an osprey dives from the sky to steal my catch while on the line! I had no idea the bird was so close before I re-watched the footage. Luckily the hook popped out and the bird got away with a free meal. I had never had such a close encounter with an osprey before," said the filmer about the clip from April 1, 2019.
