WATER ALERT SIREN TEST SWITZERLAND
every year on the first wednesday of february in Switzerland the alarm sirens are getting tested. There are two different types of sirens. This one you can hear in this video is the 2nd type of alert. Water alert sirens, for regions that are located downhill from major water dams, such as Dixence , Moiry, Mauvoisin and many more. If a catastrophy should occur, major earthquake or other, and dams might break and water might flood the valley below, this is the sound of the sirens that would alert us.
