People in the U.K. took part in national claps for Captain Sir Tom Moore who died with COVID-19 last week as Prime Minister Boris Johnson urged people across the country to clap for Captain Tom to show appreciation at 6 pm on Wednesday, February 3.

Captain Tom is the British Second World War veteran who raised millions of pounds for health service workers on the frontline of the battle against the coronavirus, has died aged 100 after contracting COVID-19.
