A security camera on Mount Street in Walsall, UK, caught the moment five assailants wielding swords were chased off by two men armed with a garden spade and a sword.

The recording from 8 pm on February 2 shows the five armed men back off after they're approached by two more men wielding a spade and a machete.

The owner of the security camera told Newsflare: "What I understand from the footage is that five thugs tried to attack my neighbour with what looks like swords not machetes.

"The neighbour and his son came out to defend themselves armed with a garden spade and a sword or machete before chasing them off."

The reason behind the confrontation is unclear.

Newsflare has contacted West Midlands Police for a comment.

According to what I understand from the footage is 5 thugs tried to attack my neighbour at Mount Street, Walsall, West midlands with what looks like swords not machetes which 3 of them was carrying and waving at my neighbour. The neighbour and his son came out to defend themselves armed with a garden spade and what looks like his son had a sword or machete on him chasing them off.
