Much needed snow blasts Rockys
The Loveland pass shows mother nature’s fury as the Colorado Rockys gladly take much needed snow. This video was shot just before the Loveland Pass closed “safety closure”. Conditions caused serious confusion and zero visibility for drivers making their way a long Colorado’s highest mountain pass which remains open throughout the winter. Vehicles had trouble determining what side of the road they needed to be on and for the relatively light traffic I witnessed rather chaotic and unsafe conditions. A few of Colorado‘s prime ski resorts are off this road while others took Loveland Pass as a detour due to heavy traffic on I 70.
