A Railway Protection Force (RPF) official saved a specially-abled man after he fell while boarding a moving train in western India's Maharashtra on February 5. The incident took place at the Panvel railway station.

CCTV footage witnessing the incident features a train leaving the platform.

Within moments, a specially-abled person tries to board the locomotive but loses his balance and falls to the ground.

An RPF official rushes to tend to him and pulls him onto the platform.

The official saved the local from sliding into the gap between the moving locomotive and the platform. The local did not sustain any severe injuries, and the RPF official averted what could have been an otherwise fatal accident.
