Man nonchalantly walks across Finnish lake with 'void under the ice'
This was the nerve-racking moment a man in Finland's Jyvämäentie walked across a frozen lake which appears to have a "void under the ice."
The point-of-view footage shows filmer Chris-Robin Schneider nonchalantly walk across the lake from the shallow part close to the shore where rocks can be seen below the ice.
Continuing to walk he goes past the point of any visibility beneath the ice giving an unnerving feeling of vast emptiness.
Schneider described it as: "The void under the ice."
One person commented on the video: "Oh man this one gave me those good heebie-jeebies, I think it's that you can see the rocks and bottom so clearly, then that drop off into the Abyss..."
While another said: "Can you hear my heart pounding? It’s going NOPE nope NOPE nope."
The footage was captured in February 2020.
