Road closed above the village of Nenthead.
My wife and I were out hiking this morning in the snow. There were huge snow drifts completely filling in the road from Nenthead to Hexham.
The road is currently still closed. This particular section of road is called 'black hill top'. It's been a bitterly cold day with high winds.
