Indian Armed Forces displayed the prowess in military aeronautics at the 13th edition of the biennial Aero India-2021, inaugurated by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru on the 3rd Feb.

A carnival spirit drifts in as Bravehearts joined to put in their best on the table. While the indigenously developed Tejas-LCA helicopters and Surya Kiran aircraft stole the show, Sukhoi, Rafale, Hawk and the American B-1B Lancer heavy bomber were among the star attractions. IAF’s Surya Kiran Aerobatic Team and Sarang helicopters conducted an aerobatic display at the Aero India show. The aircraft took part in flypast in ‘AatmaNirbhar formation’ at Aero India 2021. The breathtaking ‘Trishul formation’ by Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighters witnessed during the carnival in Bengaluru.

Amid the pandemic, this is the first global air show displayed at Air Force Station Yelahanka in Bengaluru. Aero India 2021 is centered on the theme ‘conceive, indigenize, collaborate’.
