Pro-democracy protests show no signs of abating more than a week after the military held a coup and detained Aung San Suu Kyi in Myanmar. Different groups joined marches and protests across the nation to decry the military coup and its proponent Min Aung Hlaing.

Monks in Mandalay joined in on the ongoing daily protests across the country. They carried banners with "reject military coup", "release our leaders", and "respect our votes" slogans.
