A woman was brought to All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in Patna, Bihar, India, after she was found to be infected with Covid 19 virus. The woman, who was seriously ill, was put in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). She started feeling very low as she was missing her husband and children. She became upset that she could not celebrate her wedding anniversary with her husband. To cheer her up, medical staff at Covid ward cut a cake in the ICU wearing a PPE kits. They also made a video call to her family and made the woman talk to them. “As she was seriously ill, we had to keep her morale high. We do it to all the patients here. We are happy she recovered well," a doctor said. He also said she lived in Sri Lanka and had flown to Patna on a visit when she was found to be infected.
