Celebration of Chinese New Year or Chinese New Year 2572 is celebrated very simply because it is still in a situation of the Covid-19 pandemic. Indonesian ethnic Chinese people only pray and light candles together at this year's Chinese New Year. Many rituals are not held for fear of inviting crowds. All people present must apply strict health protocols, from washing hands, checking body temperature and maintaining distance. This year's Chinese New Year there is no fireworks party during the new year celebration. Most of the congregation came only to pray briefly and return homes.
