A snake which hid inside a bucket sent ripples of panic among the residents after it was discovered inside the house in Mayurbhanj district of Indian state of Odisha under eastern India.

The panicked residents called the rescuer to tackle the fickle reptile who then rushed to the house of the person.

An animal lover filmed the incident on camera while it was being rescued by the snake rescuer.

Fortunately, the snake was discovered to be a non-venomous which had probably come to shelter itself from the warmth as the temperature tends to rise due to the upcoming summer season.

The video shows the lady holding the snake in her hand that was later put into a rescue bag to be released into the forest.
