Three elephants, including infants, were spotted amid the forest cover of Sri Lanka on February 7.

The incident took place in Galoya.

A video shows a mother-calf elephant duo stationed on the sidelines.

A third elephant approaches the pair as a vehicle full of onlookers pass by. While attempting to cross the road, the jumbo strolls towards the vehicle, but later walks past it.

Meanwhile, the mother elephant and its calf munch on the greens. However, the jumbos are unable to cross the road due to the traffic in the region. They continue to sway their tails while feeding on the grass.

The trio consisted of a mother elephant and its two calves.

One of them is a 10-year-old male, while the other is a four-month-old infant. The jumbos in the region often struggle to move across the forest cover because of the heavy traffic on the roads passing through the National Park. They chase after passers-by in a bid to protect their offspring and themselves.
