Larry the Cat gets a card & party hat to mark 10 years at Downing Street
Larry the Cat, Chief Mouser to the Cabinet Office at 10 Downing Street, marked ten years at the home of the British Prime Minister on Monday (February 15).
Larry was a stray cat, adopted by Downing Street from Battersea Dogs and Cats Home and arrived on February 15, 2011, at the age of four. He went on to capture the hearts of the British public.
His milestone was marked with a card and party hat gifted by press photographer Justin Ng.
Larry has over 439,000 followers on his unofficial Twitter profile. Meanwhile, the official 10 Downing Street Instagram account celebrated ten years of Larry, posting ten photos of the famous feline today.
