Vltava river flooding in Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic
The normally calm Vltava river grew in size quite quickly on June 2nd. Despite warnings of possible floods, many local businesses were not prepared. Sandbags were quickly filled and distributed, but only after the flood waters reached their peak. Riverside terraces like the one in the video were already under water.
