Footage of the UK's most dangerous shipwreck - SS Richard Montgomery - which sank 1.5 miles north of Sheerness in Kent in 1944 with 1400 tonnes of explosives still onboard.

On Sunday 14 February, unusual weather conditions caused a surge low tide. The predicted low tide height for Southend was 0.42 metres, but because of the surge, a rare 0-metre tide was recorded by the Southend tide gauge.

In this footage a few extra metal parts of the hull that are rarely seen are protruding above the waterline.

The UK government is planning on having the masts of the ship removed this year to reduce stress on the rest of the vessel.
