A guest at a hotel didn't know what was in store for her when she called room service to receive some essentials.

This video shows a robot arriving outside the room of guest Alexandria Applegate, in order to deliver shampoo and a toothbrush. The hotel in question is located in Los Angeles, California.

Alexandria told us that, "I ordered a toothbrush and shampoo from the front desk at a hotel in Los Angeles and the phone rang and when I answered, an automated system said, 'Wally is at your door' and this is me opening the door."

Before opening the door, Alexandria thought that Wally would be the name of a room service staff member. Encountering a literal robot was the last thing on her mind.

Upon delivering the items, the robot asked Alexandria to rate its service. After receiving five stars, the robot displayed "Yay!" on the screen. And after ensuring that Alexandria had everything she ordered, the robot displayed "Bye" on the screen, before turning around and returning to receive its next command.
