Chinese zoo ban visitors from feeding tigers after live chicken was dangled into enclosure

A zoo in eastern China has banned visitors from feeding tigers live animals after a chicken was dangled into an enclosure.

The video, filmed in the city of Weifang in Shandong Province on February 14, shows a tiger jumping up to try to reach a live chicken hanging above its enclosure.

According to the zoo, the chicken was brought by a tourist and they stopped the tourist immediately after seeing the incident.

The tiger was not hurt and is in good health. The zoo has banned anyone from bringing live animals in to feed the tigers.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
