Bodh Gaya is a religious site and place of pilgrimage associated with the Mahabodhi Temple Complex in Gaya district in the Indian state of Bihar. It is famous as it is the place where Gautama Buddha is said to have attained Enlightenment. This is the place where many Buddhist monks come to pray.
Gayang Lhamo is a 51-year old buddhist from Tibet. She has been living in Bodh Gaya for many years. Every day she gives biscuits to street dogs. She takes care of these dogs like if they were her family members, sending a message to people about the importance of being humane.
She said on the video "Everyone should love animals. I feed these dogs, because they cant eat grass. Feeding animals is the greatest blessing, even Lord Buddha said this".
