Kodaikanal residents continue to wake up to bone-chilling mornings as temperatures plunged to below normal, taking its toll on the normal life in one of the most-favoured tourist destinations in the state.
For many, including tourists and farmers, this time of the year is the hardest to survive and many prefer to stay indoors unable to cope with intolerable cold and frosty weather.

Frozen ice on the grasslands was a good sight for the photographer s as it looked like a big white blanket spread on the ground. The water droplets resembled like pearls. It was like the grass wearing pearl ornaments.
