Thousands of Palestinian Authority military employees demonstrated "Discharges 2005" to demand their employment rights in front of the residence of a Palestinian Authority delegation visiting the Gaza Strip in light of the Palestinian elections movement for 2021.

Muhammad Shtayyeh, the Palestinian Prime Minister, during a press conference announced that he had "solved problems" related to Gaza Strip employees.

Shtayyeh indicated that the issue of Discharges 2005 employees will be gradually addressed and absorbed.

The Gaza Strip is suffering after the events of the Palestinian division in 2007, and the Palestinians have agreed to hold parliamentary elections to overcome these problems and establish a new government in charge of dealing with a large part of the problems.
