This 6-week-old baby is instantly calmed when he is placed next to his furry best bud.

James is seen content as he is resting on the golden retriever's stomach. As soon as he is moved he immediately begins to cry.

James' dad Conner recognises this and places him back next to the dog, seeing the baby calm down.

Carly Mount, James' mum, said: "My husband, Conner, tried to pick James back up and he immediately started crying again. When he placed him back on Moe, he was put back at ease by Moe’s heavy breathing.

"We can’t wait to watch them grow to become best buds."

This clip shows a cute six-week-old baby boy named James resting on his pet dog, Moe. When James' dad attempts to take him away from Moe, the toddler starts throwing a fit, prompting the dad to place him on Moe once again in order to calm him down.
