A businessman was shot dead in broad daylight by two assailants in Gurugram, Haryana state, on February 22. The incident took place at around 11:30 am in the Firoz Gandhi colony of Gurugram, when two armed men opened fire on the victim who was in his car. The victim has been identified as Manish (28), a local businessman. The incident was captured in the CCTV cameras installed in the area.

The firing caused pandemonium in the area and several people gathered at the site of the incident. However, the two assailants had fled the spot. The victim was taken to a hospital where he was declared brought dead. The accused fired around 22 rounds and Manish sustained around 15 bullets injuries all over his body.

Soon after the incident, a team from New Colony Police Station Crime Branch units as well as a team of forensic experts rushed to the spot to collect evidence. A senior police officer said, "We are trying to find the cause of the murder. The reason behind the murder will be known only after the completion of the investigation."
