This is the amazing moment a woman performed CPR on an injured house gecko to save its life.

The incident took place in Pathum Thani, Thailand, on January 7, with footage showing the creature laying on its back unconscious, while the woman lightly pushed her index finger on the gecko’s chest area.

The heroine, Noey Jirawadee, was obviously afraid of the gecko but continued the CPR, even after the injured creature moved its head and stuck its tongue out.

She said: "After accidentally closing the door on the gecko’s body, I felt responsible for its life so I gave it CPR. I didn’t want it to die."

The gecko was brought back to life after a few minutes and was taken into the garden to be released, where it scampered away.
