People "rescue" agricultural products for farmers in Covid-19 hotspot in Vietnam
People have launching a campaign calling on domestic consumers to help farmers in the northern province of Hai Duong, who are struggling against the COVID-19 pandemic with a huge amount of unsold farm produce.
Facing with the stagnant sales of farm produce from the Vietnam's Covid-19 hotspot of Hai Duong, many individuals and volunteer groups are helping local farmers sell their items around Hanoi city and lots of places across the country.
Many organizations, individuals and volunteer groups buy agricultural products to help people in the covid-19 hotspot. Then bring it to provinces and cities that are free of Covid-19 epidemic for sale or free for a price of 0 VND.
The video shows people coming to get bags of agricultural products without losing a penny. But each discretionary person will donate some money to the seller, to support farmers in the epidemic area.
Presently, there are hundreds of points of sale to rescue agricultural products for farmers in the covid-19 hotspot.
The rescue agricultural products include: cabbage, kohlrabi, tomato, corn, guava, carrot, cauliflower, ... Every day thousands of tons of agricultural products are consumed.
