Giraffe crosses road while Red-billed ox-pecker pecks tick off around the anus
Cool sighting of a Giraffe crossing the road in front of us while going to the toilet. Best part was while doing her business she had a Red-billed Ox pecker, pecking away at ticks around her anus.
Its actually a super cool sighting where you have a symbiotic relationship which is mutually beneficial, both the bird and the Giraffe benefit from the relationship. The bird get a meal while the Giraffe has blood sucking parasites removed from her body.
