Search and rescue efforts have continued after a gold mine in Buranga Village in Indonesia's Sulawesi collapsed killing six miners on February 24.

Drone footage from February 26 shows excavators at the scene continuing to dig in hopes of recovering one more person.

According to local reports, at least 16 miners have been successfully rescued.

The area was subject to a horrific landslide as heavy and incessant rains hit the region and the threat of rain and floods are proving to be a risk for the recovery operation.

The drone video shows officers using an excavator digging debris to search for victims buried by landslides in an illegal gold mine pit in Buranga Village, Ampibabo District, Parigi Moutong Regency, Central Sulawesi Province.

23 people were victims of the landslide that occurred on Wednesday, February 24, 2021. Among them, six people died, five people were injured, 11 people survived, and one person is still in search.
