Locals found a parts from the crashed Indonesia Boeing 737 plane washed up on a beach at Songkhla, Thailand.

Officials examined the parts, which were found to belong to Indonesia’s Boeing 737 with plunged into the Java Sea last month with 62 passengers onboard.

The items were collected as evidence to be examined as part of the investigation into the fate of Sriwijaya Air Flight 182.

The Boeing 737-500 crashed into the Java Sea minutes after taking off on January 9 from Soekarno-Hatta International Airport in Jakarta, Indonesia..

The crash killed all 62 people aboard, including six crew members.

Earlier this month Indonesian investigators reported that a malfunctioning automatic throttle may have caused the pilots to lose control before the plane plunged into the sea.
