A serpent expert, the rescuer, captured a snake, identified as Russell's viper, within moments in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 25. The incident took place in the Adarsh colony of the Katni district.

A video shows the rescuer capturing the venomous snake from a dried-up drain in the region. He uses a stick-like object to catch the reptile and pulls it out of its hiding spot. Then, he lifts the snake off the ground to confine it in a sack-like bag attached to the end of a stick while the venomous reptile retaliates by attempting to curl up its body. Once inside the bag, the rescuer secures it to make sure that the snake does not escape.

Upon noticing a snake in the proximity, the locals alerted the rescuer, who rushed to the spot and captured the snake. Moreover, the snake will be released at a point assigned by the Forest Department in the Saraswahi forest.
