Two police officials lost their lives after their car drowned in a well in central India's Madhya Pradesh on February 27. The incident took place near the Kalarbanki village, located in the Seoni district.

Visuals show the car floating inside a well in an upturned position. The officials pull the vehicle out of the well with the help of an excavator, following which they retrieve the bodies from the car. Meanwhile, the onlookers gather around to behold the experience.

The deceased were identified as Chhapra Police Station-Incharge, Nilesh Paratei, and constable, Chandkumar Chaudhary. The officials were returning to the police station after their patrolling duty when their car hit a pole on the roadside and fell into a well in the vicinity.

The locals discovered the car upturned inside the well after noticing the dented pole. They immediately alerted the police, who rushed to the spot and swung into action. However, further investigation into the matter is underway while the cause of the accident remains unascertained.
