Cal Fire responded to reports of a vehicle fully ingulfed in flames and crashed over the side of the freeway. Arriving crews located a single vehicle with major front end damage and on fire pinned between an overpass bridge and a fence. Firefighters located at least one victim still breathing and initiated an extended extrication to attempt to free the victim. The victim was transported to a local trauma center with major injuries. What caused the crash is unknown at this time. Unknown total number of occupants at the time of the crash. CHP uppdated the cad log to FATALITY at about 5:45 am.
