Passersby lifted a car up together to free a boy trapped underneath in southwestern China.

The heroic video, filmed in the city of Kaili in Guizhou Province on March 3, shows a schoolboy suddenly running across a road.

A car then ran over the boy and he became trapped underneath the vehicle.

Nearby people gathered to the car and tried to lift it up together to rescue the trapped boy.

The boy was freed in less than a minute and the motorist then drove him to hospital for a checkup.

Fortunately, the boy only suffered minor scratches to his fingers.

The case is under investigation, reports said.

3月3日上午，贵州凯里凯里北京东路进入黔东南联播大礼堂岔道路口处，一名男童背着书包独自在人行道上奔跑时，与一辆从车行道右转驶入的私家车发生碰撞并被卷入车底。小男孩被压车底后，途经该路段的路人合力将小轿车抬起，不到一分钟时间成功把卷入车底的小男孩救出。事后驾驶员带着小男孩去医院做了检查，所幸其只是左手手指轻微擦伤。目前，此事正在处理中。
