Notorious eco-warrior Swampy was released on bail today (FRI) after appearing in court charged over the HS2 Euston tunnel protest.

Swampy, real name Daniel Hooper, was one of three activists arrested yesterday (THURS) when they finally emerged after spending 28 days in a hand dug tunnel under a park outside the London mainline station.

They had been protesting against the Government’s controversial £98 billion HS2 high-speed rail project.
