Rarely seen moment mother turtle lays eggs on south Indian beach
Tortoise laying eggs caught on camera in Southern India.
Tortoise are very brilliant creatures beyond your expectations. In this video you can see a turtle approaching the shores to lay eggs. It dug a hole and laid eggs. Then it covered the hole to safeguard it from the other predators. And it again goes a nearby place just apart from its nest and it dugs a duplicate hole to cheat the predators.
Everything said above was caught on camera.
Turtle after laying eggs move to the sea. These turtles who come here to lay eggs are the ones who were born here. Wherever they are in may be in any part of the ocean they will come to the shores of the Tamilnadu during breeding as these are born here. After a couple of minutes Volunteers from Forest department collect the eggs in order to safeguard them from the other predators and lay it under the sand in a separate protected area.
After 48 days they hatchings comes out from the eggs and then they are left in the sea.
