This was the moment a Jack Russell terrier sent of a duo of park-goers in Clapham Common into fits of laughter when it assumed a begging position looking like a human sat upright.

Footage from March 7 shows the filmer holding a burger while sitting on a park bench.

The dog is seen sitting upright like a human to the excitement of the filmer and their friend.

They said: "I was sitting close to Mount Pond in south London's Clapham Common after a long bike ride enjoying a burger when this random Jack Russell terrier approached me and a friend sat on the bench.

"It started sitting upright like a human and we both just lost it.

"After the first bout of laughter, I got my camera and started to record in hopes of it returning to its human-like seated position.

"A few moments passed and we captured it on film doing this.

"It was obviously interested in the burger I was eating; people online have told me that this breed does that when they want something or food, I didn't give it any food because I didn't want it to have a bad reaction or get in trouble."
