An elephant duo was spotted playfully engaging with each other in Sri Lanka's North Western Province on March 8. The incident took place in Galgamuwa, located in the Kurunegala District.

A video shows a herd of elephants grazing in an open field. Two jumbos playfully engage with each other as the rest of the group continues to munch on the greens. One of the elephants attempts to mount the other by jumping on its back while the other continues grazing, unbothered by its playmate. The former jumbo rests its face on the tusker's back and later curls its trunk around its companion's tail when he begins to leave.

Both the elephants were identified as 15-year-old males. The jumbos affectionately engaged with each other, giving the onlookers a sight to cherish.
