Sliding glass door shatters into pieces as man walks by in Singapore
Shocking footage shows a sliding glass door shattering into pieces moments after a man walked past it.
Sito Rong Feng was carrying a bag from the dining room table into the kitchen when the door broke by itself in Singapore on February 26.
Eldora Lie, the wife of the man in the video, said: 'Our home sliding glass doorjust went 'bomb' and shattered into pieces.
'Thankfully, no one was at the dining table when it happened. No one was hurt but we spent hours cleaning the mess.'
Eldora said the door had been installed more than two years ago. It is believed to have shattered due to 'thermal fracturing' caused when parts of the glasssuddenly become warmer resulting in stress in the surface.
