This artist in Ibarra, Ecuador, is able to produce impressive pieces of art using just coloured string and nails.

Martin Gabriel Gutierrez is seen wrapping metres of string around intricately positioned nails.

They said: "I made a Mandala step by step so that you can see how it is done! It's easy and I only used two colours to give it a great finish!

"It is my first time trying to make a Mandala and I am very excited! In the future, I would love to experiment more with string art and see what boundaries I can push."

'This timelapse footage shows Martin Gabriel Arias Gutierrez, an artist from Ibarra, Ecuador making a Mandala via string art.

He uses blue and red-colored strings and ties them around hundreds of nails to achieve his objective.
