Firefighters rescued an alleged drunk man hanging from a 28th-floor window in southern China.

The video, filmed in the city of Guang'an in Sichuan Province on March 6, shows firemen attaching a safety rope to the man hanging from the 28th-floor window.

They then used a pair of electric shear pliers to tear down the bars on the security net to make a hole to lift the man up.

After around 10 minutes, the man was rescued successfully.

According to reports, the resident in the 28th-floor flat spotted a man hanging out of his window which was over 90 metres up from the ground.

The man said he was a resident living upstairs. He drunk around five or six bottles of alcohol and then fell out of his flat accidentally.

Police took the man to the police station for investigation, reports said.

The video was provided by local media with permission.
