Two people died and 27 others were injured after a passenger bus lost control and fell off a culvert in central India's Madhya Pradesh on March 12.
The incident took place near the Mainikhapa village, located in the Mohkhed region of the Chhindwara District.
Rescue footage shows officials pulling the passenger bus out with the help of an excavator. Demolished from one side, the bus remains parked at the sidelines of the road while the officials evacuate the vehicle with the help of the locals.
Two women died on the spot and 27 others were rushed to the Chhindwara district hospital for medical attention. The bus was on its way from Balaghat when the incident unfolded due to speeding. The police rushed to the spot upon being alerted and immediately began rescue and relief operations.
