This is the shocking moment a woman in western Indonesia was shocked to lose hers wallet it left in her scooter box when she left to open up shop.

Security camera footage shows the incident that occurred at 7:10 Friday, March 12.

That morning, scooter rider and a shop owner, Nadya (21), arrived at her shop in Bukittinggi city, West Sumatra province.

When Nadya was busy to opening her shop, a man walking in front of the shop, allegedly saw a wallet in the scooter box, so he intended to steal.

Nadya said that the man seen twice back and forth in front of the shop while his eyes were fixed on the scooter box, then entered the shop pretending to be shopping, allegedly to confirm conditions around the location before stealing.

"He wanted to buy glue gun stuffing, but we didn't sell it. He came out, took the wallet in the scooter box and left," Nadya added.

The victim has reported a case of theft of her wallet containing several hundred thousand rupiahs, ATM card, driving license, and several vehicle documents to the police.

To the police, Nadya admitted that she forgot to take her wallet from the motor box because as soon as she arrived she immediately opened the shop.

Nadya also informed local residents and spread CCTV video footage to social media, hoping that there are residents who know the perpetrator whose face and characteristics are clearly recorded on CCTV so that the thief can be caught immediately.
