Activists hold protest in solidarity with Wits student protests
A small group activists held a placard demonstration outside the Cape Town Central Police Station to show solidarity with the Wits University protesters who who were subjected to police brutality. Police also killed an innocent bystander, Mthokozisi Ntumba, who was shot when he left a medical clinic in close proximity to the student protests.
Nuhaa Soeker, one of the placard protesters, said the student protests showed that there was a lack of leadership in the country.
