Cheeky Monkey Invades Indian house and demands food in Eastern India
This is the moment a cheeky monkey entered inside a house compound and sat demanding food in Bhadreswar, West Bengal, Eastern India.
The monkey sat on the boundary wall and refused to leave until it was offered food.
The dogs who also saw the uninvited guests started barking but the ape stayed put for almost 10 minutes before it was given a few packets of biscuit.
The house owner is seen throwing over the packet of biscuit but the monkey fails to catch it, the packet falls down on the ground and the primate immediately leaps on to grab the biscuit packet.
The monkey ate the biscuits but still hanged on to the wall demanding another packet, in spite of the resident trying to chase it away by clapping, it hanged on waiting for more. It was then handed over another packet to which he sat on the ground and finished eating.
One of the residents said, "The monkey was probably famished and it was desperately waiting for food."
The monkey then left silently as the street dogs followed it barking continuously until the barking noise faded with the canines chasing the ape for a few metres away from the courtyard of the house.
