Protesters and police clashed in front of the Mark O. Hatfield U.S. Courthouse on Thursday, March 11, police used tear gas and pepper spray to disperse the protesters.
Stop Line 3 protesters moved through downtown, against the Line 3 pipeline, a proposed oil distribution route between Alberta, Canada, and Wisconsin that would violate treaty rights of the Anishinaabe, an indigenous group in parts of the U.S. and Canada.
